DR. LILY FENN PRIZES for LEGAL TECHNOLOGIES

 

Dr. Lily Fenn Education Foundation Limited (“the Foundation”), established by our senior partner as major donor, shall kindly donate prizes to the Faculty of Law of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (“CUHK LAW”) with effect from the academic year 2021-22. The prizes will be known as “Dr. Lily Fenn Prizes for Legal Technologies”

 

There are 3 annual Prizes worth a total of HK$30,000:

 

(i) One Prize of HK$10,000 shall be awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws programme of CUHK LAW who achieves the highest overall mark in the course LAWS3456 Legal Technologies in an academic year.

 

(ii) One Prize of HK$10,000 shall be awarded to a student enrolled in the Juris Doctor programme or the Master of Laws programme of CUHK LAW who achieves the highest overall mark in the course LAWS6089 Legal Technologies in an academic year.

 

(iii) One Prize of HK$10,000 shall be awarded to a student enrolled in the Postgraduates Certificate in Laws programme of CUHK LAW who achieves the highest overall mark in the course LAWS5025 Legal Practice and Technology in an academic year.

 

In each academic year, the Dean of CUHK LAW will select qualified candidate(s) for each Prize. The particulars of the Prize recipients will be sent to the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid for onward transmission to the Foundation for confirmation.

 

Each Prize recipient may also be offered an internship or solicitor’s traineeship contract with our law firm.
